Dr. Anirban Chakraborti is a Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, with an expansive research career spanning institutions in the USA, Europe, and Japan. With deep-rooted values shaped by years of association with the Ramakrishna Mission, Anirban supports Sunaayy with research-backed frameworks, and strategic guidance to ensure sustainable and inclusive growth. He has helped in modernizing operations and strengthening digital presence.
Swagata Bhattacharya
Advisor, Branding & Design
Swagata Bhattacharya brings two decades of cross-functional experience in branding, learning & development, and visual communication. With a strong foundation in fine arts and digital design, she lends her creative lens to Sunaayy, helping shape its brand identity. She advises Sunaayy on branding strategy, donor engagement visuals, and training aids for impactful outreach.
Nishant Kumar
Advisor, Social Innovation and Treasurer
Nishant Kumar is a grassroots changemaker and founder of Nishant Foundation. He leads innovative programs in education, healthcare, and sustainable farming in rural Bihar. At Sunaayy, Nishant contributes his expertise in program delivery, and social innovation while performing a dual role of Treasurer. His deep understanding of rural communities played a pivotal role in extending Sunaayy’s reach to rural areas.
Arvind Pandit
Advisor, Fundraising and External Relations
Arvind Pandit brings close to three decades of experience in management consulting, with deep specialization in leadership strategy and organizational transformation. He is the founder of Ishwa Consulting. At Sunaayy, Arvind champions fundraising and external relations, building a bridge between the foundation and key supporters across industries. Arvind’s entire family including his two sons, Arnav and Abir, have volunteered to make a difference at Sunaayy.
Shiladitya Mukherjee
Advisor, Fundraising and Liaison
With over three decades in the hospitality industry, Shiladitya Mukherjee has led strategic roles at renowned hotel chains. He brings operational expertise to Sunaayy. A founding member, Shiladitya supports logistics, and fundraising strategy, helping the foundation stay agile and mission-focused. He has also been instrumental in various liaison efforts helping the organization navigate many challenges.
Sayan Chakrabarty

Based in the US, Sayan Chakrabarty is a seasoned supply chain professional and a passionate advocate for equitable education. He leads Finance and supports in donor outreach for Sunaayy, championing campaigns and cause-driven initiatives. Sayan’s efforts help ensure continuous support from the US for the foundation & growing network of children and community teachers.
Misty Castañeda

Misty Castañeda is the founder of For Purpose Kids, a social enterprise dedicated to inspiring the next generation of global citizens through play and storytelling. A longtime friend and supporter of Sunaayy, Misty brings her passion for volunteerism and empathy-based learning, to help amplify Sunaayy’s impact internationally. Her continued advocacy helps extend the foundation’s circle of care and connection. She leads Fundraising activities in the US.
